Today is a rainy day and we’re staying in. Scott has to catch up on some work and I need to rest my back, which also gives me a good opportunity to make a blog post. Before I left home for the States, I put all my photos on an external harddrive, to make some space on my laptop. What I didn’t think about was that I wanted to post the newest ones on the blog! Luckily I had three pictures still open in Photoshop, so I get to post them now. Enjoy and have a great holiday weekend back in Norway!

RSSKonfirmanten Emilie
0Last Sunday I had two photography jobs, and therefore Scott and I decided to get our tickets to the States on Monday instead of Friday after work, which we usually do. Somehow we ended up having to take a train to Oslo Sunday morning and I wasn’t able to take the pictures anyway. Luckily for me the girls I was photographing didn’t have any problems with getting dulled up an extra day, so we had them done a few days before. It was for their confirmation and I think it was actually better to do it in advance. We knew we would get sunny weather and we had as much time as needed, no stress
Here’s Emilie. Some people were born in front of the camera! Gratulerer så mye med vel overstått konfirmasjon!

Behind every successful photographer, is a cute and funny assistant!
1Next week I’ll be posting some photographs of beautiful Emilie. For now you’ll get to see her awesome sister, who helped me during the session, made everyone laugh and made sure her sister got the right lighting in her face. Perfect! I should hire her!

1Christmas or Stressmas? Which one do you choose?
0Christmas is such a nice time and specially this year, with the snow coming December 1st! There are so many nice things happening in December and it’s important to enjoy all of it. Don’t let it turn into “Stressmas”! It doesn’t all have to be perfect, as long as you enjoy the little things, spend lots of time with the people you love and remember what Christmas is actually all about.
Here’s a photo from yesterday’s Christmas shoot. Some kids were born in front of a camera!

2Kind of a sad picture on a happy day. I got my husband back from the states today after ten days alone in the new house. So good to have him back as I really don’t function normally without him. It just reminds me to much of the old days when he didn’t have his residence permit and kept having to go back for three months at a time. He brought home his Apple TV and for the first time in over two months we are watching TV! New episodes of Once Upon a Time. Love that show…
Fall Beauties
4While hiking with the kids at work, I noticed this little cozy place up in the woods and figured right away I had to get someone up there for a shoot. Hiking with the kids however is not like hiking by yourself! I was exhausted after carrying all the camera equipment plus a bunch of other stuff. The models were in better shape though and looked beautiful as always as you can see below. Thanks girls for being able to go on the spot! This won’t be the last time you’re modeling for me!
